Today I am going to talk about a brand that you know very well and need no introduction . If you are in USA then you will know that every healthcare professional trust this brand for newborns. No more mystery here , I am talking about Philips Avent Soothie. It is every baby’s first friend and In my story, Avik’s First Friend is also Philips Avent Soothie Sunggle. Philips Avent Soothie snuggle is the superior plush toy and pacifier. I still remember when I delivered him and the doctors handed him to me. I was shivering due to anesthesia but felt so calm after holding him. That feeling of calmness is all I wish for my baby to feel. But then there are moments of discomfort and I learnt this in hospital where doctors and nurses told me about pacifier and gave Avik his first one, the Philips Avent Soothie. Trusted by healthcare professionals to calm newborns, Soothies are distributed in hospitals in the USA. That was the day and now, he is 11 months old and loves his Soothie Snuggle which is a plush toy with Soothie. Avik loves the cute plush toy attached to his Soothie which makes him feel secure too. I personally love the Philips Avent Soothie Sunggle. Totally a Mom approved product for their babies. If you ask me why, well there are so many reasons. First it is BPA-Free, Orthodontic, made with flexible medical grade silicone and 100% durable. It is safe to be used from day 0 of your baby. Plush toy is an easy attachment that is lightweight, easy to find and hold. Sealed weight sewn inside the end of each limb stabilizes the plush toy when baby is lying down. Soothie and Plush toy can be detached for easy cleaning. The Soothie snuggle is easy to clean and sanitize, both the pacifier and toy thoroughly, because the parts detach. It also allows baby’s first friend to grow with them over time. Cleaning the toy and soothie is very easy and can be done in following way : 1. To start, detach the Soothie pacifier from the Snuggle 2. Sterilize the Soothie either in a Philips Avent Steam Sterilizer bag (I use these) or in boiling water for 5 minutes. 3. After sterilizing, allow the Soothie to cool for at least 5 minutes and squeeze any trapped water out of the nipple. 4. You can wash the plush toy in a mesh laundry bag with your normal laundry cycle. Set it out to air dry. 5. Once you’ve cleaned both parts of the Soothie snuggle you can connect them back together and give the pacifier to your baby. I always check the product before each use and replace the pacifiers in case of damage or weakness. Philips Avent recommends replacing your baby’s pacifier after four weeks of use. The plush toy is compatible with all Philips Avent Soothies and pacifiers which can be swapped out and replaced with age appropriate soothies as baby ages. Philips Avent Soothies are designed for babies 0-3 months and 3+ month, and other Philips Avent pacifiers are designed for babies 0-6m, 6-18m and 18+ months. Once your child outgrows pacifiers altogether, his or her snuggly friend can still stick around and conveniently attach to car seats, strollers, or backpacks. 9 Months In – 9 Months Out

Hello Vivacious Fam Hope all of you are staying safe during this pandemic situation. It has been more than 2 months and for everyone things have changed. I wanted to talk more about COVID but here is the thing, I actually wrote a different blog about that and right now that one is in drafts. The plans was to post that one this week but then 16th May 2020 came. You ask me what is so special about that day. Avik turned 9 months. It is hard for me to actually believe that but Truth is Time’s Flying. My tiny little heart is growing up fast. I had to jot down this memory in my blog and that’s why we here sharing my 9 Months In – 9 Months Out story. My journey of 9 months of pregnancy was Fun. Not a single complaint I have ( except the last week of pregnancy ). I was able to eat and sleep and dance and what not. When AV was inside me, he was very active baby. He started dancing (or whatever they do inside the belly) from week 13th only. I used to pat him, record his movements, play music for him. Sometimes it felt stupid but then I wanted to be engaged and connected to my heartbeat. AV was due on 16th Aug 2019 and he picked the very same day to arrive also. But that week before delivery was one painful week for me. Every day at night I was going through major contractions but during day nothing. Because of which even doctors were not ready to admit me. I had cried out of pain that whole week. Pheww. But when he was born, it was worth all the pain. Holding him that night is my most precious moment. My journey of Mommyhood is going well. Thanks to AV, he is not much of a trouble maker. I have read lot about boys trait that they are very good till they turn 1. After that the game is changed. Waiting for that phase to come but for now things are going smooth. He has a very nice schedule ( I will take a little credit here) and adjusts easily to any change. Right now he takes 3 meals and 6 feeds in whole day. He is sitting properly and sort of started crawling ( backwards.. yeah!). I love to watch him do stupid things and (do not call me crazy) browse my photo gallery to watch his videos and pictures for 100 times a day. Truth is, I am a Mom now. I never thought I will be a mom. Even the 9 months of pregnancy, I always wondered how will I understand my baby or do something for him when I myself, am clueless. Truth be told, I still don’t know anything. My mom says I will understand what my baby wants always. But I don’t. I understand the things he does on daily basis or sounds he makes on regular to get an idea what he might want. Sometimes he gets what he wants or sometimes he just gets distracted. And that is what Motherhood is for me. I might not know Right or Wrong but I know that I have to make that little face smile. So 3 months more and he will be 1 year old. My Big Boy. As a new parent, Life is very different in a beautiful way. Everyday is unique and comes with new challenges of parenthood . We have been enjoying parenthood to core and love every single bit of it. Best part is Avik, my tiny heart, enjoys with us too. He makes our heart full. But then not each challenge that comes in our way is easily managed. One of these challenges that we faced recently was maintaining Avik’s sleep schedule. I can not thank enough Little Ones Sleep Program which made this challenge a piece of cake. Trust me, none of the method followed old “Cry It Out” sleep training. They follow the mantra “Know Better, Do Better”. And now I believe in it too. Science has come a long way and we can skip the old sleep training methods. Let me come to the best part of the app. I have heard this and I am sure this will come to your mind too : Not all babies are same. They are human after all. It worked for my baby but may be it won’t for yours. That is why this program does extensive troubleshooting if all thigs doesn’t go as per the plan. It has got tonnes of videos to guide you through Sleep programs. Valentines Day Lookbook – II

Happy Valentine’s Week everyone. Hope you are having a fun week. I know for many of you this week means nothing. Probaby feels like overdose of PDA. But I love to celebrate this week and Valentine’s Day every year. It has nothing to do with expensive gifts or publicly showing love and affection. It is more about taking a break from everything that is going on in life and say I love you. Not just say it but say it from heart and mean it. This day is to celebrate love and a reminder to tell your better half what they mean to you. Bonus for a fashion lover is they get to do shopping for date night. Haha. Today’s blogpost is about Valentines Day Lookbook – II where I am styling one skirt with 3 different blouse. Well in my last post you have already read how much I love Black so even when this skirt is available in multiple colors, I went with Black. And let me tell you, it is Classic. Pleated Maxi skirt in Black or any other color can make any look elegant only. I have paired Pleated Maxi Skirt with 3 different blouse which are just the right ones for Valentine’s Day. Colors I have picked are Red, Pink and last one is mix of Red & Pink. These looks have not been over accessorized but are made classic by picking statement sleeves blouse. I loved styling this blouse with Pleated skirt for two reaosns. First the blouse is a bodysuit which gets tucked in well and gives a really neat look. Secondly the Balloon Sleeves which made me pick this one immediately . The sleeves which are sheer and square neck blouse in fuchsia is an ultimate for Valentines Day Lookbook. Very Classy and Elegant look created in Mock Neck blouse with Puff sleeves. This has been in fashion forever and it will never get old. I love how comfortable this look is for any event. Red and Black is beautiful combination of color. Red makes this a lovely choice for Valentines Day Lookbook. This look is not been justified in the pics. In reality this combination and styling looked best. The top is sheer with heart print and Lantern sleeves. The beauty is the color combination of pink with red hearts which get popped because of Black skirt and Sheerness of the blouse. Lantern sleeves are new favorite for me and looks stylish. Hello Loves. Valentines Day is around the corner and one big thing going in our mind during this time is “I don’t have anything to wear”. I mean now I think it should be declared a fact that Gals Never Have Anything to Wear. But let me tell you one thing which none of you gals can ever deny, You have that Black Dress… Ah right! I have never met one person in life who doesn’t have Black in their wardrobe . Fun thing about Black color is it always is right for any moment. With that on mind, My Valentine Day LookBook starts with Black Dress. There was a time in my life when 80% of my wardrobe had Black and Blue only. Well even today 50% is Black but now I have evolved and have started loving Colors. But somewhere in the back of my mind (and heart) love for Black in all occasions is intact. The month of February is full of Valentines Day looks preferably in Pink and Red. Well that is of course the color of month but my LookBook has to start with one of my favorites . Someone said it right, You can never go wrong with Black. SHOP MY LOOK Styling Black is the easiest thing. Hello and Welcome Everyone. A very happy new year. I have missed writing here. Last I shared was during my pregnancy . AV is already 5 months old and about time that I start sharing back here. I have been occupied mostly by Baby duties, Job, Social Life and Insta-Blogs. It is exhauting to be very true. But we will talk about that some other day. Let’s start this year with my new series V W Edit where I share some looks that I love or my opinion on Upcoming Season Trends. And today I am sharing about Animal Print Effect. Animal Print has been trending for a while now. I remember when I was pregnant in the start of year 2019, market was upgrading to all kind of leopard print, cheetah print, snake prints and more. It was not just limited to dresses and tops but shoes and handbags were painted in this trend too. Thanks to my big tummy, I did not invest much on this trend at that time but as soon as I deliverd, I splurged and digged into this with my whole heart. Today I am going to talk about Baby Registry Recommendations . Everything that I added in my Registry or felt is must have for Prenatal /Postnatal are in this post. Without much delay, let’s dig into my Baby Registry Recommendations. Out and About Travel System : There are 100 of options for the travel systems. Each one has some good/bad features. Based on what you need and what your lifestyle is one should pick the Travel System. After doing a quick reasearch, I settled with Evenflo Gold Shyft Travel System. I loved the look and safety features of the Stroller and Infant Car Seat which has latest Sensor Safe technology that is app controlled. Stroller Accessories : Stroller Accessories like Organizer , Cup Holder, Weather Shield and Netting are good thing to have. I picked Evenflo Accessories Starter Kit which has all the good to haves in one place. Carriers : Must have in your registry if you love to travel or you just wanna hug your baby always. I picked (C/O) Ergonomic Baby Carrier which can be used from infant to 36 months. This carrier can be used as Hip Seat or Waist Tool. I am thankful to Babysoil Store for introducing same to me. Playards : I was initially not sure if I needed Playard but then with time I realized this is something we should have. Keep in living room or pack and take it for travel. Graco Pack n Play are really good and I totally recommend them. Nursery Crib : Crib is something that will be used for long term. So investing in crib is always a good plan. I got Pottery Barn crib gifted and am super happy with it. Crib Mobile : I love some Safari Theme for my baby nursery and I picked Bedtime Originals Jungle Fun Musical Baby Crib Mobile. Infant Crib Bumper : This is much discussed topic for infant safety. Should bumpers be installed or not in crib. I did bit research on same and found that the Infant Soft Braided Crib Bumper are good to keep in the boundaries of crib. They come in many pretty colors and add a cute look to the Nursery. Head Shaping Pillow : Very Important for every Infant. You do not want the shape of head of your little to be flat. They need a good head shaping pillow. I am glad that (C/O) Bebo Beba was introduced to me and I have kept it in my crib. Bassinet : Bassinet is a good to have product in your bedroom if you are planning to keep the baby in same room as yourself for few months. Portable Cosleeper : If you are social person like me, you do want to invest into Portable Bassinet/ Co Sleeper. Baby Delight Snuggle Nest Infant Sleeper can be folded and taken anywhere without even a hiccup. Bedding : I picked Safari Theme Bedding set for baby nursery. Changing Pad : Summer Infant Contoured Changing Pad is what I picked as Diaper Changing Station. My suggestion is 2 side contoured are well and safe for safe. Investing alot in this is waste of money. Changing Pad Cover : Changing Pad Cover Set that I picked are in Neutral Theme and in color Gray. Closet Organizer : Nursery Organizer is fun to do and good organization can make it super easy. I picked GOLOHO Nursery Organizer and Storage Closet Set which had 50 pieces of hangers, boxes, clips and dividers to make the organization super easy. Plush Rocker : I know it is not needed for infant but I just wanted a Rocker in the Nursery from Day 1. I picked Scooby Doo Rocker from Animal Adventure and the quality is fabulous . Soft Toy : I am not sure if my little one will be into stuff toys but I just wanted the nursery to be filled with few of them. Going with the jungle safari theme, I picked some elephant, sheep, bear and random safari stuff toys. Animal Wall Art : Again this wall art I picked as I did a Safari theme of nursery. One can do any kind of wall art or cute decals that can add to the look of the Nursery Theme. White Noise Sound Machine : Frankly speaking I am using it duringmy pregnancy alot and I am hoping that baby is used to of the wave crash or White noise functionality of (C/O) Onlyee Sleep Therapy Spa Machine. It has total 8 soothing natural sounds for sleeping. Feeding Baby Bottle : Most of my friends are using Comotomo baby bottles and I blindly trusted them on this. The shape of this bottle is really cute and feels like natural mom feel. Bottle Warmer : Munchkin baby products are reliable and great. For my bottle warmer/cooler I picked Munchkin Night and Day Bottle Warmer/Cooler because of two big reason. The adjustable timer is customizable and the feature of keeping the bottles cool or warm. Bottle Brush : One needs a good Bottle and Nipple cleaning brush. I picked OXO Tot Bottle Brush with Nipple Cleaner and Stand in Gray for my baby. Drying Rack : Drying rack is much needed for bottles. breast pump accessories, nipples and pacifiers to dry. but they occupy so much space in kitchen island which I never liked. Then I found OXO Tot Space Saving Drying Rack which is not like a tray but standing drying rack. A Space (Life) Saver. Breast Pump : Note important point here. Many insurance cover the breast pump cost and you can get it for Free. I picked Medela Pump in Style Advanced and it was covered by my insurance. My hospital uses Medela and have always read good reviews only about this one. Milk Storage : If you are planning to pump and your milk is coming fine, you might want to save them for later use. Medela Breast Milk Storage Bags are pretty useful in such scenarios. Sterlizers : Sterlizers can be Electric or Microwavable. Both serve the same purpose. So pick one that suits your lifestyle. I picked Philips AVENT Microwave Steam Sterilizer as I felt it is little bit quicker than electric sterlizer. Luckily Milk Snob introduced me to same and I picked (C/O) The Original Milk Snob Nursing Cover. Feeding Pillow : My Brest Friend Original Nursing Posture Pillow is the best feeling pillow as it surrounds your waist and get hooked. Let s the baby feed in comfort. I do not like the prints and color that they offer but functionally they are great. Bibs & Burp Clothes : Burt’s Bees Baby Burp Clothes and Upsimples Baby Bibs in shape of banadana is what I recommend. Soft, Cotton and Super Absorbent. Pacifier : I love the cutest (C/O) Bib Pacifiers from Mushie and their Pacifier Clips in matching. Also Nanobébé Flexy Baby Pacifier are good for new borns as they are Orthodontic, 100% Silicone Pacifiers. Diapering Diaper : I did not do much research on this and picked Pampers Swaddlers Newborn Diapers. I read that diapers are picked by babies. So your baby might let you know if it is good on their skin or not. Diaper Rash Cream : Good recommendation for Diaper Rash Cream is from Destin Maximum Strength. Diaper Pail & Refil : Playtex Diaper Genie Complete Diaper Pail is recommended for Diaper Trash. You do not want to miss this as house smelling like Diapers is not where your mind can be in peace. Refils can be found here. Wipes : Most used product from the registry I would say are Wipes. I love HUGGIES Natural Care Unscented Baby Wipes as they are sensitive and have flip flop open packs. Diaper Bag : A fashionista mom needs a cool Diaper Bag when traveling. I am thanksful to (C/O) FiveMax for introducing me to Baby Diaper Bag Backpack which looks chic and has so much of space. Diaper Bag Insert : One of the best finds for working moms and moms who prefer Regular Tote as Diaper bags, Diaper Bag Inserts from (C/O) ToteSavvy. I got their Deluxe Insert and one of the fabulous piece that I have right now as part of my registry. Portable Changing Mats : Portable Changing mats are good investment as you need it mama everywhere. These are used till your little one is Potty Trained. I picked and recommend SnoofyBee Portable Changing Pad as it has barrier to hold the baby. Diaper Caddy : Hiccapop Nursery Organizer and Baby Diaper Caddy is a cool organizer that can actually hang on the crib. You totally want this as it does not take extra space and is close to where it is most needed. Bath Time Infant Bath : This can be skipped if you pick the next item in the list but I wanted a Infant Foldable Bathtub to be used in Sink easily. Puj Tub is foldable and soft. Bath Tub : I picked Fisher-Price 4-in-1 Sling ‘n Seat Tub and recommend this to everyone. It is 4 stage convertible. From newborn to Toddler stage. Worth the money. Bath Cup : Skip Hop Moby Bath Tear-Free Waterfall Rinser Bath Cup is very cute and I love it in my Bath tub for baby use. Towel : Hooded towels are the best for teeny tiny ones. I saved some money by picking Spasilk Bath Gift set that contains 23-Piece Essential Baby Bath. Baby Lotion : Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion with Oatmeal & Dimethicone is what I have picked. It has great reviews and works well with baby skin. But based on your baby skin, you can give few others a try. Health & Safety Baby Monitor : I have 2 favorites in Baby Monitor. Well most do good job but I love if they look cute too. I have picked (C/O) Lollipop Baby Monitor which looks super cute attached to my crib. The other favorite is Arlo Baby Monitor which looks like Cute bunny. Humidifier : Always remeber, cool mist humidifiers are preferred in baby room. We already were using Honeywell HCM350W Germ Free Cool Mist Humidifier and went with same for Baby room also. Trusted well. Thermometer & Nail Clipper : I bought Summer Infant Complete Nursery Care Kit which has everything a baby will need in their early days including Thermometer and Nail Clipper. Aspirator : Fridababy NoseFrida Nasal Aspirator is something every mom swears by. I trusted the reviews and went by this product. Must Have. Disinfectant Spray : This is not a must have but I recommend it for hygiene purpose. Lysol Disinfectant Spray is what I have and it can be sprayed on Swings or Cribs or anywhere baby needs to be. Play & Learn Swing : Best Selling Swing on Amazon are Fisher-Price Cradle ‘n Swing. They are available in many different themes. If you have limited space and do not want a big Swing, I recommend Ingenuity ConvertMe Swing-2-Seat Portable Swing. Gym : Gym is very important for growing kid. I picked Tiny Love Gymini Deluxe Infant Activity Gym Play Mat because of vibrant colors and cute hanging toys it came with under a decent price range. Gym can vary a lot in price so you have to pick something that fits your range and usage. Clothing Onesie : You can always find cute onesie in many stores. But I recomment buying set of White Onesies that can be worn inside and are most used. Here are the ones I picked from Gerber. Swaddles : Tiny ones are most comfortable with Muslin Swaddles. I picked Tosnail Muslin Baby Swaddle Blankets which feel super soft and perfect for baby. Hat & Mittens : Once again people might have different picks here. I went with Gerber Baby Boys’ 8-Piece Organic Cap and Mitten Set. Sleepwear : If you are expecting or new mm , you know about SIDS. Blankets are not to be given to tiny human beings. Hence the best alternative are Halo Sack. Simple Joys by Carter’s Baby is perfect Sleepbag. Socks : Get anti slip baby socks for your kid. I recommend going with gift sets as for less price you get more. I picked Blulu Baby Socks Gift Set. Shoes : Sawimlgy Infant Baby Non Slip Walking Slippers Shoes Soft Sole Warm Booties with Grip Socks Home Moccasins are my recommendation. One will need to upgrade them slowly. Hello Vivacious FamHope all of you having great days of summers. I am kind of chilling, working on baby stuff, taking lot many bump pictures and enjoying my pregnancy. It is super fun to see your baby bump growing day by day and hearing those heartbeats on every doctor appointment. It can be sometimes tiring or irritating but the whole journey is beautiful. I am currently on my 35th week and totally ready to Pop. Maternity Clothing are my best friend these days and one of my favorite that I picked is from PinkBlush Maternity Collection. SHOP MY LOOK Maternity Dress : PinkBlush | Statement Necklace : Express, Similar here| Sunglasses : Gucci | Footwear : INC | Watch : MVMT I am somehow more inclined towards Pink Shades of Clothing during my whole pregnancy . And when I saw this Fuchsia Fitted Ruffle Trim Maternity Dress in PinkBlush, I could not resist but Buy it immediately. There were some more pretty colors available in this but I got stuck with Fuchsia Pink. And I was so happy when it did fit me perfectly.
