” A baby fills a place in your heart you never knew was empty. “
Hello Vivacious Fam
Hope all of you are having some good times and cherishing the moments around you. If you follow me on Instagram, then you already have quite a few on BabyAV update. If not, Here is the biggest news of 2019 from Our Family : We are Excpecting BABY in August 2019. What a moment of Joy & Excitement. We are so overwhelmed in the best way possible with the outpour of love we received from babyAV announcement.
Currently in my 31st week/ 7month, and only 62 days away from our due date, I thought of sharing some of the questions/ concerns that I have been asked on various social platforms. Anyways babyAV had to do debut on our Blog also, right.
Question of the millennium. How do we know we are ready for an addition in the family. Well there is no straight answer for this question. Me and Mr A always loved babies but were never in the zone of starting of Family. But something changed in the Fall of 2018. We were in Amsterdam and Mr A popped the question : ” When will we start our family?” I still don’t know if It was a joke or after effect of Famous Brownies of Amsterdam, but it just got me. As soon as were back from our trip. I talked to my Gynaecolologist and stopped my Birth Control Pills. I think the answer is You Just Know it!
This is again a Funny Story. While Prepping me to Start Planning a Baby, my Gynae told me that the process sometimes can take more than 6 months or even years. And I was kinda prepared for that. Fast Forwarding to a month later, I tested Positive on 10th December 2018. I was little bit shocked because this was my first test. I took one more test next day and a digital one a day after. So after 3 days of positive testing, We were quite confident that We Were Pregnant!
Fun Fact : The conception happened around the timeline when we were celebrating our 5th Marriage Anniversary. Possibly drunk or hungover 😵
Soon after the test came positive, we booked an appointment with the Doctor. My first sonogram happened in 5th week to test for Ectopic Pregnancy as I was a candidate for same (an year before I had my appendix removed which made me a candidate). It came out negative but the scary part is not the tests. It is the feeling What Will Happen Next. Will this stay or not? Miscarriage is common and there is no To-Do list to avoid it. All one can do is eat, sleep, relax. I did that. With all the wishes and blessings , things are going smooth with babyAV but still in the back of my mind a question is always there : What IF? And the truth is, there is nothing that can be done. All the blessings from friends & family and doing what your hearts feels like is all we should rely on.
The best stories that we hear about pregnancy are Cravings. Well they say Pregnancy are unique and mine one totally ignored the fact that I should be Craving for Stuff. From Day 1 of this pregnancy , I am loving Sweet & Spicy both. Anything that has good taste or looks attractive goes in my tummy. Lol. I stopped my Crossfit classes as soon as I got to know I was pregnant. Though it is safe to continue but I wanted to switch to Prenatal Yoga. I would say best decision that I took. Prenatal Yoga are special workouts designed for Pregnant Women. Not just Yoga, we Preggers talk about issues and fixes in the class. We talk about how to get rid of backaches, swellings, cramps, make baby move and be ready for Labor. Touch wood , this has made my journey Super Easy.
Fun Fact : I am eating twice or maximum thrice a day during pregnancy. Growth of my baby is good. I do not have any iron deficiency or anemia. I am not weak and dancing with my full energy everyday (literally). So ladies, do not hear the myths that you have to eat for 2 people or eat 5 times a day. Do what your body needs not what others need. Listen to all and do logical stuff.
I am feeling fabulous. Physically and Mentally both. Sometimes I am confused. Should I be Nervous or Do more Homework for upcoming changes. Or is it alright to let things happen as and when they come. I think I am more of latter part. I plan for worse and enjoy the best. Scared doesn’t come easily to me. Mr A on the other hand is dope excited and doing all kind of homeworks to be prepared for baby. I can already see him as Best Daddy.
I just can’t thank you all enough for the amount of love and support we have. BabyAV is already so loved and I couldn’t be more grateful!
I will be sharing more stories on our Gender Reveal and few maternity / non maternity looks on the blog. Be Alert for the fun Stuff because babyAV update are going to be fun.
