Vivacious Wish

Today marks Vivacious Wish’s one year anniversary.

I can’t believe that this blog is an year old. Still feels like yesterday. It is amazing that I have shared my work with you all for an year now. I owe a big fat Thank You to all of my readers who have supported me and loved me throughout. Vivacious Wish would be nothing without you. Special thanks to someone who has guided me and supported me in each step through this blog, Ajeet (aka My Hubby). He is one who actually hated photography and never wanted to hold a camera but all the pictures that you see on my blog are clicked my him. Blessed girl I am with him and all of you by my side.

How Vivacious Wish Started

It was a random thought initially. I remember my office colleagues asking me to share my work wear styles as I loved to dress up in Business Casuals. With a full-time job I was not sure if starting a blog was good idea. Time management was my great concern. And I must tell you , I am pretty bad at same.

In 2014, I found this app Instagram (Pretty late right!). To start with, I was just following some celebrities and my friends. Playing a little more and exploring , I understood how Instagram was a platform to share your thoughts and work. And there this thought of InstaBlogging clicked me. I started sharing my OOTDs under @vivaciouswish using #vivaciouswish. I followed many fashion bloggers during this time and realized lot of them are blogging with full-time job. Made me feel why I can’t do same. And that thought kicked me to start my sweet blog Vivacious Wish.

Vivacious Wish Today

An year old , 65 blogs published and still so much to learn. I love to dress up and share my styling stories with you. Main aim of Vivacious Wish is to style ways that are  presentable with spending the least. I have shared lot of Outfit details , few Travel stories and bit about Lifestyle details. I was lucky to collaborate with some really good brands. Feels great to try things and share with you my experience. I do not have any team working with me. It is  Me and ‘A‘ (hubby-cum-photographer). I style my looks, edit the pictures, write the blog and hit the publish. Very happy I feel today to complete this one year with something I love to do.

Vivacious Wish Struggles

Oh yeah! It was not a piece of cake. True I love to dress up but Is fashion blogging all about dressing up. Let me tell you, No, It is Not. Starting Vivacious Wish took me 3 months of homework. Which host to pick, what camera do we need, How should the layout be, and may similar questions.. I read lots of online blogs and made many points of do’s and don’t. Picking a theme for the blog was big decision as that is the face of the blog. I picked something which was Simple and Girly. Each Blog needs a minimum of 3-4 hours to publish. Writing the content, editing the pictures, correcting the format. With a full-time job and quite bit of social life, I decided to do my posts twice a week. I make sure I do not push myself hard and enjoy my writings.

Vivacious Wish Future

Plan is to be more consistent. I know I have skipped many times from my regular post schedules. I want to be better in Time Management and schedule my posts ahead of time. Vivacious Wish will be adding more travel blogs this year. I love to travel and would like to share my stories with you all. Hopefully, wide audience would love to see that. Backbone of Vivacious Wish remains same, sharing the styles and looks which can be creating without a splurge.

Vivacious Wish Inspiration

I follow many blogs and visit feeds of bloggers on Instagram in regular basis. Inspiration is everywhere if you see it that way. This past year has been a learning curve for me.
